| The Fletcher Branch Library opened in 1977 in a mobile classroom on HWY 25 in Fletcher. As the need for space kept growing, a committee of Fletcher citizens formed the Friends of the Fletcher Library and raised funds for a permanent new building. The new building, located behind Kate's park, opened in 1989. |  |
