The Library offers an array of computer classes for both the novice and the
advanced computer user. Schedule and Class Descriptions are below.

– Prerequisites: None
This class focuses on the basics of computer hardware and software, how to find and open programs, and using the Internet. Class time will also include some hands-on exercises.
MS Word 2010
– Prerequisites: Experience using the mouse helpful.
The basics of creating documents in MS Word will be presented in this class. This will include how to use the Word toolbars, editing tips, saving and retrieving your document, and printing. Class time will also include hands-on practice editing a Word document.
MS Power Point Basics 2010
– Prerequisites: Must know how to use the mouse; experience with other MS programs helpful.
Participants in this class will learn the basics of how to create a Power Point presentation. Presentation tips will also be given. Class time will also include hands-on practice creating a Power Point presentation.
MS Excel Basics 2010
– Prerequisites:Must know how to use the mouse; experience with other MS programs helpful.
The basics of Excel spreadsheets will be explained and editing and formula tips will be discussed. Participants will then have the opportunity to create a simple spread sheet.
To be announced – these classes will be offered through-out the year and will cover current technology topics.
